My shit
Here is a pic of my beast, the Mongoose Sx 4,3.

In the picture the bike has shithouse stiff forks, mine is fitted with RST 281's they got a bit of travel for $200 shocks and are pretty loose which makes them wicked for jumping. The wole bike costs $650
 
Mongooses rock
Like my bike this is a mongoose too, but this thing costs about $9,000 and has is a proper downhill racing machine with rear shocks. Some other big buck downhill bikes are:
